process. As a portable SSD, it's designed for plug-and-play compatibility with most devices.
Initial Setup
Connect the SSD: Use the included USB-C cable to connect the X9 Pro to a compatible port on your computer, tablet, or other device. If your computer only has a USB-A port, you'll need a separate USB-A adapter.
Device Recognition: Your operating system (Windows, macOS, Android, etc.) should automatically detect the SSD. A new drive icon or notification will appear.
Initial Formatting: The X9 Pro comes pre-formatted with the exFAT file system for broad compatibility across different operating systems. If you need a different format, such as NTFS for Windows or APFS for macOS, you can reformat the drive using your system's built-in disk utility.
Warning: Reformatting the drive will erase all data, so be sure to back up any files you want to keep.
